An historic house and gardens open to the public with a fine collection of paintings by Gainsborough, Reynolds, Alma Tadema, Constable and Millais. Also furniture, books and Henry VIII's prayer book, a restored rose garden, a knot and sunken garden and an arboretum. Guided tours except on Bank Holidays.
