The Manor forms the focus of a group of stone buildings which includes a 16thC dovecote. The present stone-built manor, dating from the early 13thC, stands on a late Saxon royal manor which belonged to the Danish King Knut. Later, the Manor served as a residence to many influential prebends of Lincoln Cathedral. Included on the site are the medieval fish ponds and museum in the tithe barn. Also introduced are the 14thC gardens.
