A lovely pub on the South Green of the picturesque village of Coates, looking out over the green itself. The Vine Free House is run by Stuart and Toni, serving the local village of Coates and surrounding area. The Vine is now run as a free house, serving Real Ale, Traditional Pub food, and also caters for Weddings and private functions. Our opening hours are Monday to Thursday 3pm to 11pm, Friday 12 to Midnight, Saturday Breakfast 9 to 11.30am, and 12am to Midnight, and on Sunday 12:00 am to 11:00 pm.

There is a bar and restaurant serving Sunday lunches. It’s a good idea to book in advance, as we do get busy. restaurant. There is a range of Real Ales, beers and lagers. With Elgood’s Golden Newt and Bombardier representing the Real Ales. There is plenty of parking available and seating outside to take advantage of the good weather.

At the back you will find nine Petanque pitches and you will soon be made aware the game is very popular in this village. There are pitches all over the village for when they hold the international championships.
